KOSIGN, Korea’s one-and-only international sign exhibition, triumphantly returns for 2011

Korea’s only professional signage and advertising trade show, Korea International Sign and Design Exhibition (KOSIGN), will be held at Coex Convention Center in Seoul Korea from November 17th to the 20th. KOSIGN is owned and run by Coex, Korea’s largest trade show organizer.

 

KOSIGN is the only trade show in Korea that serves as a platform to experience the latest domestic and overseas trends in the signage and advertising industry. At KOSIGN, manufacturers and buyers can interact freely for the advancement of their companies and the industry. The show expects around 25,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors in 2011.

 

KOSIGN has developed alongside the Korean signage industry, following the market’s developments each year to a tee. To representatives in Korean companies, the Korean industry and KOSIGN are synonymous. Now in its 19th consecutive year, KOSIGN will bring the best of the sign industry in 2011 and beyond to the show floor.

 

The exhibition has also enjoyed an increased profile in the last two years due to the development of digital signage technology. Other expansion factors include analog signage plug-ins to digital content, such as QR codes.

 

Further adding to KOSIGN’s success is its co-location this year with LED@SHOW and digiSIGN, partner exhibitions dedicated exclusively to LED technology and digital signage and kiosks. The partnership between these three shows predicts the intersection of their industries as a new growth engine. Participants will be able to explore new ‘blue ocean’ markets with previously unforeseen potential.

 

‘The Original, KOSIGN!’ explores digitalization of the sign industry in 2011

Digitalization is a global trend that has become a hot topic within the signage industry. Digital technology has been used as a tool for space designing in the industry for years. However, recent rapid development in a variety of cutting edge technologies has brought about further expansion in the signage industry. Areas from 3D display and printing to visual LED space design will be the focus of this year’s show.

 

In addition to the exhibition a special “Space Design Show” and other concurrent events will be held. Events include The Prize-Winning Works of Good Sign Awards, World Big 3 Advertising Festivals, and a special Buyer Reception.

 

“All of Visual”, KOSIGN’s official Korean slogan, expresses the variety of products that are to be showcased, ranging from sign to display, public design, and more. Participating businesses at KOSIGN include printing, LED, media, and ink to production systems, equipment, digital signage and sign technology.

 

Biz-Matching, Technical Tours, and More: Benefits for Overseas Buyers

KOSIGN is ready to support visiting overseas buyers through a pre-scheduled biz-matching program. The matches will pair overseas buyers with selected high-quality domestic companies, giving them a chance for close business interaction.
