The Designjet L28500 and L26500 printers will spearhead HP's wide-ranging product line-up at the Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East Exhibition 2012, January 31st - February 2nd, Dubai World Trade Centre.  The company will be exhibiting on Stand F2 in Hall 2.

The event will mark the first appearance of the HP Designjet L28500 Printer in the Middle East, which will form part of a product showcase that also includes the HP Designjet Z5200/Z6200 Photo Printers, as well as the robust and reliable flatbed HP Scitex FB700 Printer.

As the very latest additions to its growing latex printing portfolio, the HP Designjet L28500 and HP Designjet L26500 Printers enable a broader range of indoor and outdoor signage applications with better durability than eco-solvent inks. The new 2.64m (104in)-wide HP Designjet L28500 Printer delivers speeds up to 70 per cent faster than the HP Designjet L25500 Printer, while the 1.55m (61in) HP Designjet L26500 Printer is ideal for customers entering the growing soft-signage market.

Both HP Designjet L28500 and  HP Designjet L26500 Printers feature new water-based HP 792 Latex Designjet Inks, which produce rich blacks and glossy results on banners and self-adhesive vinyl, and offer double-sided printing capabilities with less user intervention and more accurate, automated registration.

Alongside HP's new latex introductions, the HP Designjet Z5200 PostScript Printer is a low-cost, 1118mm (44in) photo production printer that can image a range of media at speeds up to 4m2/hr (445ft2/hr). Ideal for copyshops entering into large format printing, the HP Designjet Z5200 can print on photographic, proofing and fine art printing materials, self-adhesive, banner and backlit media as well as fabrics and textiles.

Similarly, the HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer uses HP Vivid Photo Inks to deliver high-quality output and the highest speeds of large format printers in its price class.  Designed for photo labs, digital print shops, advertising agencies, design firms and commercial printers, the HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer series delivers photo-quality prints at 2,400dpi and versatility for indoor applications from line drawings to photographic output to signage.

Also on display in Dubai will be the HP Scitex FB700 Printer, a robust and versatile printer offering the ability to print on both rigid and flexible media for indoor and outdoor applications at speeds up to 80m2/hr (861ft2/hr) (billboard mode). Using UV-curable ink, the printer can handle rigid substrates up to 6.4cm (2.5in), print up to six sheets at once, and produce double-sided prints and full-bleed printing, making it ideal for PSPs who want to expand into new markets.
