X-Rite has released the latest version of its NetProfiler software, developed to allow graphic arts businesses to calibrate multiple handheld and benchtop spectrophotometers 'to a single virtual standard' and maintain colour measurement consistency throughout the supply chain.

NetProfiler 3.0 can exchange comparative colour data with business partners 'anywhere in the world', says X-Rite, and can provide confidential reports detailing instrument performance, compliance status and local auditing and certification information.

The software features new ceramic calibration media that enables a reduction in the number of colour standards, therefore 'streamlining the profiling process'.
